Riad Meriem has five rooms, all individually designed to the highest standards and attention to detail, including stunning artwork, antique bronze washbasins from India, mirrors and lighting fixtures hand crafted by the Moroccan royal family’s lamp maker, hand made beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, and A/C and heating. The Bhou (patio lounge) is a favorite for guests enjoying evening drinks by candlelight, with a romantic view of the oriental plunge pool overlooked by stunning bougainvillea and palm trees. In the salon and chimney lounge, guests can enjoy a romantic dinner or relax next to an open fire.
The verandas provide ideal locations for the guests to read, relax or have a drink with a view over the oriental plunge pool framed by the bougainvillea and jasmine climbing up the courtyard walls.
The terrace offers the experience of sunbathing and lounging in a spacious and surprisingly peaceful environment surrounded by bougainvillea, olive trees, pomegranite bushes and jasmin with a view of the Koutoubia and the Atlas mountains. Many of our guests choose the terrace to enjoy wonderful breakfasts as the sun rises over the Atlas Mountains, midday brunches, and for eating some of the finest Moroccan dinners by candlelight, a truly unforgettable experience.

Situation :

Riad Meriem is located in the heart of the Medina, in the oldest quarter of Marrakech dating back to the 11th century, five minutes away from the Square Djemma el Fna, two minutes away from Medersa Ben Youssef and the Musee de Marrakech, and one hundred meters away from the entrance to the souks. The prime location is arguably one of the best spots for access to all the main sites. The calm and tranquility, which prevails in the Riad, contrasts with the frenetic pace of the Medina.
